I woulda thought TSI's were the cheapest to make. It's just like 3 square pieces of metal welded together with a head tube.

That doesn't add much though. I could make a deck plate and fender and buy 10 screws for under 10 bucks.

i think if they are cnc'ing it (or however you say it) it wouldnt cost more to make it a different shape or have the logo cut out, they just program it to do it. i dont think it would cost more or less for a different shape the actual metal is what makes the difference in price and the scale they are making them

Actually compared to the price for Proto,Phoenix,RAD etc in Europe you should be happy.
Here an SCS costs 70£ which is like 140$ since there is no distrobuter in Europe all shops have to buy directly through each manufacturer. And for me it´s much better to buy directly from US but almost NONE of the Us shop ship outside US which is just silly and only sets back the sport and is a loss for manufacturers as they would sell alot more if they opened up the small but existing market outside the US.

Your all idiots who obviously don't know how much welding or CNC costs. It's not as easy as you think.

We are doing what we can. We are a small company, and its hard to cut cost without increasing production numbers. Its TRUE when I buy stock material (square tube and plate) it cost twice as much as a raw etxrution. Plus there is more welding time, Drilling and hardware cost. This is why we will be doing an extruded deck. It will cut my cost in half. Another way we can Save you tons of money is to cut out the middle man. When we sell our parts to a dealer, the dealer marks up the price. sooooo we have realy had it whith this bullshit. when the new Flight Deck gets here we are going to sell it to the public at a wholesale price $100 bucks (made in USA by Sapa extrutions)

thats legit and at least TSI has the guts to release where they get some of there stuff made like phoenix doesnt say anything about where there parts are made same with a lot of different companys and also most companys dont even say how much it actually was made for and yet they sell it for a lot more

this is a bullshit thread. companies put their logos on their parts for marketing, and so people know what the fuck it is. i like logos on parts, i wouldnt want parts with no branding at all. it looks way more professional, and its a step up in the scooter industry. i think its absolutely necessary for companies to put some type of logo on the parts they make.

its not sooo bad.and remember if your parts look like -----no one will want them.think about it.you freshly weld a strong deck and try to sell it with no touch ups.its not gonna be very appealing.you know what they say;seeings believing!ya have a point though,they dont need to do THAT much.and part wud be cheaper.
