AMC is showing the entire first season from the first episode right now. The second season premieres tonight at 9:00PM Pac

Its based on a comic book/graphic novel and is about zombies, but since its a show they don't have to wrap it up within 2 hours. Its pretty gnarly and I really like it, anybody else watch it?

Better than any zombie movie Ive ever seen (IMO)! Most zombie movies dont really have a plot, its the end of the world, theres zombies, the people have to survive. The Walking Dead has the zombies and then a storyline within the group.

The ender of the season 2 premiere was the biggest fucking shocker! You could tell something was gonna happen, but not that.

Best show ever. It's not just a big group of Zombies killing everyone. Theres survivors, and there is drama within the group also. It's not just a big gory killing spree like most zombie movies. I spent my whole sunday catching up on last season.

Exactly! Its cause its on AMC , where story matters. Lol they have the entire first season on netflix and I watched it last week when I was sick.

What do you guys think jenner whispered into ricks ear at the end of last season? I think maybe he discovered some kind of mutation in ricks blood that makes him immune? Idk just one of a couple of theories.

This and breaking bad are my new favorite shows on tv.

I think Im pretty sure what he whispered in Ricks ear. My friend read the comics and stuff that this was based on. It doesnt follow the comic exactly, but he said that what Jenner whispered was in the stories too.
I dont wanna give away a big spoiler haha, youll have to keep watching.

but thats why i dont want to read the comics. but i know that shane died early on in that and id rather him get killed then just dip out like it seems like he is going to...

also the great thing about the show is that the comics creator is helping them with the story line

I dont think hes gonna just take off like hes saying. Theres so many crazy twists and shit already that I dont think theyll let such a big character just disappear that easily.

Im curious to see if Merle ever pops back up.

Yea that's true, but I kinda like him but he also messed up when he tried to stick it in Lori, even if he was faded.

I have a feeling he might be in the next episode or two for some reason.

How much of the comic have you read?

I think tensions gonna keep building with the whole love triangle thing and Ricks eventually gonna find out.

I actually havent read any of the comic haha. My one friend only told me 2 little spoilers last night. Thats all I know from the comic.

i dont get why shane doesnt man up and just confess his feelings so they can talk about it cause if the tension gets worse and worse then something bad is just going to happen. i mean its the freaking end of the world, if i was Rick i would give my best friend a little lee-way...especially when he legitemetly thought he was dead.

I like how theyre going about the whole thing though. I think its more realistic that theyre kind of trying to just hide it for now. Rick coming back brought so much confusion to them and they dont really know how to handle it. Lori thinks that Shane lied to her just to get some buns, but Shane really thought Rick was dead and tried to be a good friend and save his family.
But then they have the whole thing like how Shane keeps trying to keep it going, like in the season 1 finale. And now in the season 2 premiere he keeps ignoring carl and shit like that. I think the thing that happened at the end of the new episode is gonna lead to either Shane or Lori breaking down and telling Rick about what was going on.
Maybe Im just over analyzing it, but this is the type of show where if you really think about small details, you can start to put it together.

yea this show is the shit and is just about the only thing i can watch on today's television. i like how they are doing it too but that was just my idea of what i would do if i were shane, which is obviously not as dramatic and is sort of just a fairy tale ending to the situation.

and as for Carl, its like getting shot runs in his family so im not too worried about the liitle guy...lol

Hahahaha. That end was fucking nuts though. I was sitting with my friends being a smart ass saying its gonna be like Bambi. Itll be some big touching moment, and then the deer gets shot. I was half right hahaha.

so far its not following the graphic novel as close as it could be but its still great. plus i read an interview that Robert Kirkman(author of the original comic) is one of the creative directors of the show! and he says that the TV series is going to standalone and move in a different direction.

the funny thing about this show when i was watching it was they were saying zombies can open doors.... but then there next zombie attack a zombie comes running to the door opens it and runs at them haha

Did anyone else notice what theyre setting up with Carl, and then Rick finding out about Shane and Lori bumping uglies?
I think they might be setting up a situation like how shane died in the comic.

If it turns out to be true and I spoiled it for you, suck one. Dont get pissed cuase I put a god damn warning!

That was pretty nuts. I feel like they built up so much hope for Sophia. All the characters still wanted to look for her and still thought she was out there and gave it a real positive feeling. AND THEN shes a fucking zombie in the barn... Surprised the shit out of me.

I cant wait for the rest.
