Are Elyts shoes worth the money?

My mum won't let me buy the shoes because she says that I break shoes in four months. I explained to her that these shoes were made for scootering and should last longer. Views/opinions?

you're better off buying like 2-3 pairs of vans and alternating them. when you dont ride the same shoes every day, they tend to last longer.

i ride nike sb team editions (they're almost janoskis lol) and they've been lasting me 4 months of solid riding, the suede feels comfortable, and the sole is almost indestructable, and i usually put my foot down to slow down instead of using the brake

if you want shoes that last a really long time... Im talking like 6 months... supras are the best. good impact protection and looks good too. although they are $130 a pair.

To be honest, DVS is the best show company for me. I've had a pair last over a year and could have made it last longer but i wanted new ones.
They're also pretty cheap depending where you buy them at.

DVS went bankrupt :(

And you guys talking Janoski's are sheep. They are the worst shoes to ride in.

Best shoes i've ever had are Nike SB OMAR SALAVAR's

I rode janoskis for around 5 months and they still have tons of life in them, I'm wearing my elyts mids and I like them and I bought them out of my own pocket to support scootering, if you dont buy them then you dont give them any money to make them better even if they arent great in your opinion right now, I like them personally
