i am the only scooterer in my town. there use to be about 30 scooterers in town but they have all quit because they think that it is gay. they come up to me and tease me just because i fukin love scootering hayy i just want to punch they fuking face in when they say that eventhough they were scooterers they have all change to bmx or some thing. soooooo boring scootering by myself

whereas in my town i am getting sick of scooters event though i ride them. it is absolutely full of kids that think they are all this at scootering and yet they cant even tailwhip up a quarter :(

yeah i know what you mean kieran, i have been up fleet and there are so many little kids. But i only have 3 people i ride with so its ok

I used to get a ton of shit because i scootered and now that ive been doing it for like 3 years and everyone knows i do it no one really gives me shit because they know im actually good at it the only people that tend to give me shit are freshman and im a junior so i just get in their face and fuck with them a little =]. They will eventually not give you shit trust me

Ride with skaters and bmxers, it'll probably more fun than riding with your scooter friends cause they seemed like tools.

i like riding with bmxers cuz they can relate to tricks we do cuz they do mostly the same on bikes although sumtymes they hate on scooters cuz they think its a disgrace and theyre juss copying bikes

Yeah I definitely feel your pain. For the longest time I was the only scooterer in my town. Didnt have skaters,BMXers, NO ONE to ride with. Luckily I moved to a bigger city (which happens to have North America's largest free public skatepark) and 3 years after moving there, I have a skater buddy and his crew to ride with. I would take riding with friends over riding alone any day, but sometimes you have to go through those seasons :(. That's what this forum is for, so that you can stay connected and realize that you are not alone. So ride on, lone scooterer, ride on.

I know what you meen buddy. I'm the same. Have tonnes of annoying, pre-pubesent children having their mummys and daddys to buy them all the gear.
Theres one lad, riding around on a FrID deck with Dual Eagles, Swishes, The full lot. And he is still trying to tailwhip... Sort of makes me angry in a way, but i can't do shit all about it. And now its winter, and the roads are always wet. I've quit for the winter, i dont like riding in the wet, waaay to sketchy for me. And my scoooter comes back covered in crap.

If i'm honest, i'm feeling like moving on. But its only the SR forum thats going to keep me entertained over the gloomy, wet and shit winter.

i feel ya dude, im the only one in my town too. its always a little awkward when i show up at the skatpark because people are like laughing and shit but after they see me ride, they quit laughing and start to respect what im doing.

except for like once a month go cry about it
