One Piece Bars... waste of money?

I have the black JDBug and still have the stock bars. I was looking at some one piece bars online the other day when I suddenly stopped and thought
"Wait a minuit, whats so great about one piece bars? My stock bars are just fine."

So this is my question, why do so many people replace there stock bars?

I can't figure it out, it's not as if there is any trick that I can't do with stocks so what's the point of replacing them. Some people dont like that the handles are removable which cause some slight movement but this is easily solved by applying some electric tape to the the ends of the handles.

they/i like wider bars. they are also stronger. and its two more things on your scooter you dont have to bolt/things that will come loose, so thats always a plus for me.

For you there fine stick to it. For more experenced riders they are good cos they are strongerr there is a breakage issue with stock bars. also there is a trend with them and they are more soild.
I personally like the weigh.

I ride hard and street and it's never ever come loose and it's not even bolted.
Tbh I think any wider than 18 is too wide for me anyway.

Stay with the stock bars if your unsure, but i have a feeling you will change your mind about 9 months from now. I do think scooter parts are to expensive though, i had to use my entire collage fund on bars, a fork, and a compression system.

I think this is the main reason, all these kids want to have the best scooter and worry more about getting the best parts than actually riding.

true all the kids in my town r running 600$ scooters and when i ask to play scoot there best trick is a 180 whip lol

Yeh that's exactly what I'm talking about, it's stupid in my opinion. The only time I would replace is if they brake, which I don't see happening any time soon.

i like how greg put it. i actual use the steering column on stock bars as an actual tool. a headset cup removing tool. stock bars are just too weak

stock bars are more of a tool... you use them to find the height you wanna ride, then ditch them.

haha, stock bars are ugly, have that clamp in the way and so short. They are only used to take headset cups out/beat someone with. One pieces are 1 piece, comes in the height and width you want. mostly chromoly and tig welded. They are much stronger and come in different colors that are powdercoated for little more money. they cold also be used with scs and some have waranty.

no your fucking wrong and the kid you quoted is wrong. they are stronger, its much easier to ride wider bars, you can go threadless and you don't hit your knee of the damn clamp. they don't rattle and sound like shit like razor bars do. its pretty obvious why.
