I'm 29. I just started and I am having a lot of fun. As long as I can jump over stuff, do whips and manuals then I am fine. Don't worry about trying to get good, just try to do. It's a lot more fun that way.

Sorry, I didn't realize. I was going to use an Ethic Merrow fork, but I am open to any other forks (like Tilt, etc). I am 5'5", not sure how tall the bars should be. Width is whatever. I used to BMX a long time ago and had bigger bars then. I don't know if any of that helps.
