I think I will just build the funbox but in parts so it's essentially 2 kickers and a box/manny pad. I dunno if im just being a complete noob by thinking it would be easier to get air off a kicker for a begginner than a quarterpipe?

Wow thanks for all the quick responses, reason I can't build both is that I am not rich so it's a one or the other. Would 3-3.5 feet be too short for a quarterpipe?

Since i live in a town with no skatepark i am considering building some kind of jump or mini park in my basement (which is huge). Which do you think would be more helpful to a new rider, a halfpipe/quarterpipe or a funbox? thanks,
