    That's what I thought, it nearly to the top of the proto clamp, may have to cut it down because it's going to look daft with lots of shims.

    Cheers for the replys everyone, will look into the spacer thing, although think I will need more than what's on the black scooter, can't believe how long these french I d forks are, and also need a smaller star nut and because of the thickness of the fork tube.

    Hi all, have been on here before but forgot my details. anyway I post on behalf of my son, we are building up a new scooter, phoenix revention deck, French I d forks, proto scs, and first time using scs, do you need to cut the fork steerer tube down as it seems to long? Looks to me like it needs...
