And its about a very serious issue indeed.

All across the country, thousands of young, teenage boys are getting addicted to playing video games. Even one of my best friends has fallen prey to the pretty graphics and gameplay of the XBOX 360. He only leaves his room to go to work, which he does to pay for new games (and because his parent make him).

What are your thoughts on video-gameaholics?

I think they need to stop being twinky-lords and do some physical activity. Like make them power thier #^) by running on a treadmill. Or go play COD4 with there fat friends at the local paintball feilds. I hate lazy kids who do nothing but videogames and eat. They all are told to play sports, so they go eat, because they have been misinformed that eating is a sport. Skinnies FTW!

There are addicts for everything imaginable. Of course all of them should cut back so that they maintain a decently healthy lifestyle and in general see the light of day. Like ride a scooter.

people do whatever. if video games make them happy so be it. its lame, but whatever. just try to get them to hang out and not want to play video games. find something more fun

yea i was on WoW for 3 years, glad i'm off lol. being addicted to video games really destroys you as a person in like every way, but as people have said all addictions are dangerous

greg's right... i thought i had quit a few times but you just come back to it somehow and its very hard to get away from once you've invested yourself in it, i found it especially easy to get into cos i hated my highschool (/emo) but i'm coming back for college this summer and i definately didnt want to think of myself spending more time with elves than college girls

just have to remember that you live once and if you spend it all on one thing (especially running around in a shitty virtual world) you're gonna regret it

i agree, i really hate sitting indoors on a sunny day, and to think that people spend real money on 'gold' for games like world of warcraft is just..pathetic imo

mind you i wouldnt say no to resi 4 :)

I would sacrifice a riding day to play Halo 3. Not often, but i dont have an Xbox 360, so if someone said to me have my Xbox for a day, hell yeah i would take it up. Video games are good in moderation.

Exactly, thats what I do. I ride for as long as I can until I get tried. Then I ride home and play games for like 1-2 hours and then go back riding. :)
