A New Scooter

Ok, so you are all aware Christmas is approaching, and i have just gotten back into scootering after quitting for 3 months.
I ride an old model blade. (its pretty old but still excellent)
And im afraid about buying a new scooter, the Madd Gear Nitro sounds GREAT but i have heard negative things about the madd gear pro normal.
I just dont want to go spending $200+ to find out i dont like it.
I tried a Razor Ultra Pro at my local skatepark and fell back and hit my head, lucky i was wearing a helmet, its so fuckin light and not enough foot room.
I've never ridden a madd gear before so could anyone give me some advice and tell me what the Nitro is going to be like?

-thanks
Curtis.

P.S. Im new to the forum =] hi.;)

yeah well i understand that you may have your doubts about the nitro atm but it will be good, its going into the testing stage very soon and wont be released untill its to our(mgpteam's)liking so rest assured it will be good, so ride the blade aslong as possible, and also understand the mgp/nitro is heavier than a blade so dont be shocked if it takes awhile to get used to, but it does grow on you trust me i rode blades for 2 1/2 years.
edit: it will be well under $200

i dont mind it being a bit heavier as long as its not a tonne and i would prefer heavy over light anyday aha =]
