so basically, whats the best way to go about the business up in this place. find spambots, quickest way to go through threads to see if theres bullshit going on, stuff you wouldnt know how to do if your not a mod etc.

Hmm, like the drop down box for banning? I don't seem to have that option.
Bottom of the page in the red bar. Third link from the right should say "Mod". That's for searching for users, checking IPs, banning, editing profiles, etc.
Below the last post in a thread you have options for editing posts. Right above the opening post in a thread on the left side is a link that says "Thread Options" where you can close, edit, pin, etc. a thread.
And sorry for not being on much lately, I've been taking care of some personal things. Trying to find a job is pretty difficult in such an overpopulated state.

Ben, it will be really obvious if they are spam or not, they will usually have underlined hyperlinks in their sig saying stuff like "Free Movies Online" or "Pay Day Loans here" etc.
Looking for bullshit through out threads is easier than youd think too. Just browse through like you normally would, but now if you see pointless SR drama you can do something about it.
