So because y'all cool cats have such a fascination with the "group" post all the shit you find about "them", or that "they've" done here. Ask questions and post files from those who offend.

I'll start.


OpMayhem is currently in the works.

OpCountdown was a success, CIA was DDOS'd, FBI database was accessed during this time period (silly fuckers thought that anon was only going to the CIA and focused their CS team that way).

They're awesome. The FBI conference call intercepted was so funny.
I heard the term being used in reference to them, "anarchic cyber guerrillas" which somewhat bothered me, as it was used describing them as a supporter of violently enforced political authority on the Internet. Thats pretty shortsighted, seeing as they're really not even a solid group with solid members, it's actually just a loosely associated hacktivist group.

Is there any media/news source coverage of the OpCountdown? Or an acknowledgement that it happened from the CIA or FBI? Just curious.

A "group" of like minded people doing like minded things. 4chan has nothing to do with the idea anymore. There is no agenda, simply weeding out the immoral and wicked.

In my opinion they've received far to much attention for what they've done and as a result their e-penis has grown beyond massive.

Now they think everyone loves them and wants of piece of their action so they go out looking for things to do, which kind of defeats the purpose of white hats in the first place.

1st part is very agreed upon.

Anonymous is technically black, or grey hat as the moves are extralegal or illegal in their nature. White hat would be more along the lines of "Hey I found 3 points of entry into your site at your request, a $500 fee is attached, here is how you patch them". But where's the fun in that? :fell:

This is over. Right now the circlejerk is over OpRollRedRoll, OpMayhem, and OpDarknet2.0 (self given name- redo of an op from 9 months ago but this time on the surface).

WBC got the fuck d0x'd out of them to the point where their lawyers, doctors and bankers got put out.

my fav part about opWBC was Tumblr fags posting the WBC head persons address everywhere and 4chan sending them their dumps

Maybe they're trying to force a new world order upon us all in, which case I hope that our borderline humanity doesn't fall for it.

I find Anonymous just to be a group of rebels. Give a name for a group of rebels and they'll be considered genius. Rebels are just all the same. I have nothing against them, I mean all they're doing is fighting for freedom via internet. I don't know much about it other than seeing it on 4chan, but I stopped browsing /b/ because it's just a bunch of assholes who think gore threads are funny and they all think they're over powering over everyone else and think they're geniuses. I just stick to 420chan, but now they're starting to turn into 4chan so browsing them now is just /b/ but with more drug related posts. Anyways, I think Anonymous is cool and all, but it's just like any other rebel group that's succeeding with what they want. This honest opinion is probably gonna cause some butt-hurt from the thread creator, but isn't that what opinions are all about? Debate? Well in my perspective, I think so.
