Any way to rig a compression system?

I broke my ics starnut, and im only at my moms for another week, I want to go to the skatepark here before i go and I cant find a 1-1/4 starnut and if i order anything it wont be here in time, any ideas on how to get my headset tight?

is there a hardware store near you? Go buy another compression bolt.

take you scooter and what not but dont do anything with your ics, take wood and set it on top of your bars(clamp should not be tight at all) hit the wood with a hammer untill your headset doesnt move, but this only works with good sealed headsets, then tighten clamp and ride

Seatpost compression works. Get a regular bmx seatpost clamp, and put it directly on your fork. Push it down far enough to stop your headset from wobbling, then put your bars overtop. Might not work if you have a shorter fortube though.
