i havent had mine long enough to give an opinion

Pros:

FAST
Smooth
Super Strong Core (SSC POWER!)

Cons:
Click, can be fixed with tape on bearing
Slide out easier than YAKS

Overall so far i think they are great, but the main reason i wanted these wheels so i wouldnt have to buy wheels all the time, and yaks are like gone now, so yea, so far they have been great for me, and the cons are easily outweighed by the pros for me, and i think that i will have a better review in a couple months, after they have been tested for awhile.

honestly, the micro metalcores are hyped up ALOT more then they should be. they are portrayed as virtually indestructable wheels, when they arent. brian murphy broke both of his metalcores. and the bearing space ovalizes after a while. all in all, they dont seem worth the rediculous price.

Being like 100 bucks or something for a pair + shipping, i would say not worth it at all. Stocks are good, and theres other good wheels you can ride.

Yeah I'd rather spend no money on stock/random wheels than $100+ for those two wheels. $100 in normal wheels will get you farther than $100 in metal cores.

yeh there worth it, mine started clicking ages ago but bearing lock fixes all that or like matt said tape around the bearings. there supersmooth and really fast, ive got stock bearings in and it seems like ive got some really good brand bearings, they slide on wood easy but other than that they are worth it.

1) I honestly don't know what the heck do you do with your scooters that you ovalize those bearing slots.
Stop throwing your scooters around. I really don't understand how they can start clicking. Well as some other older veterans have said, putting micro spacers to the rear wheel will fix the clicking problem so i did that already before putting metalcores to my pro-model deck. That's that.

But why the hell isn't my front wheel clicking then? Once i managed to throw my scooter on a frontflip attempt and it fell right to it's front wheel to concrete from 12-14ft of height. That should have ovalized the bearing slots, yea? No. Instead of it, i bent my SR fork's 5mm thick plate which connects the steerertube to the fork legs.

STILL, metalcores work fine and are silent. Since february: parks, streets, 8+ stairs. Still nothing wrong.

2) Where the hell do you guys ride? On glass? After 6-7 months of riding them in indoor and outdoor parks + street, i just haven't found ANY kind of spot where my wheels would have slipped just once.

Forgot to add.

As for this thread, they are totally worth it. Once you try them, you'll never want plastic cores again.

Ride big stair sets with them, the slots will ovalize eventually. The urethane blows on them too, i couldn't carve wood pools without sliding out, uncaught whips slide out kinda easy, and they overall just wear down too quick. Mine were down to like 87mm (guessing) after 2 months, i can't even ride them anymore. Mine were free though :)

bump.

ive had them for almost 2 months now.

Still running great, still super fast. Only con was clicking and sliding out a little easier than stocks. Fixed the clicking with tape (temporarily, my tape came out on one of my bearings. whatever though, i did it quick and shitty.)

I think if they keep holding up like they have been ill still have 2 great wheels for awhile. Definitely glad i got 110 instead of 100, just because they are fast and since Brian says they wear down pretty fast. i really don't think mine are that worn, maybe like 106-107mm? not too worn really. I know when i first got them my sr fork rubbed like crazy, now they have a small clearance.

Overall, i still think they were worth the money. I paid 167 for 4 wheels shipped.

=
41.75 each wheel (shipped)

i still have 2 old 110 yaks left if i ever need a backup wheel, but i think that these will last awhile.

I will bump this up again eventually if/when these break and how they did. Also if im still satisfied in another month or so ill probably bump the thread and give another good review :) haha

theyre worth it. comparing promodel wheel and micro metal core is like comparing new a[stock] with promodel[stock].
im not sure how long ive been riding it but yea its long lol.
I had 4 yaks ( one pair of 85mm and one pair of 80mm i believe ) and i broke them in 2-3 weeks, and lol i rode pretty much only flatland.

soo yea theyre totaly worth it.

check out my profile and you will see picture :], i would say the best parts by ordering are:
wheels
promodel
buffs(theyre good and light)
sr fork(i think this needs some more upgrading, i kinda see cracks on "fork", not on forktube. it might be just cracked paint when the fork abit bent :) hopfully
