Autistic son - scooter suggestions

Hi folks,

My son is 10yo & aitistic. He loves running around on a cheapo scooter. Loves watching the oter kids doing their stuff at the skatepark & doing the little ramps. (I try my best to keep him out the way when it's busy)

We want to get him a half decent scooter for his birthday but don't want to spend silly money on a pro scooter.

Any suggestions for a nice scooter for my boy to run around in?

Ta,

Thanks so far. I had checked out the JD Bug (it's about £50 in UK). I'll look at Razor Ultra Pro. MGP looks too expensive from what I've seen so far.

He's 10yo, he's about 4'9" & growing (quite fast round the middle, hehe) so he's going to need smething that'll take an adult's weight. Taking note of all your suggestions. Ta.

Remember. He's not doing any stunts. Just pootling & looking for a nice scooter to pootle on. Nothing really pro.

mgp? not team ed but standard, its a nice scooter, that'll take a adults weight, it also looks really good and is relatively light, its also cheaper than a razor ultra pro and a team ed, i'd recomend it.

Yeah a jd bug would be fine for that purpose, but you could get him an ultra pro which if he did want to try doing some tricks would be better and stronger for him.

Recently i have bought to my 13 years old son birthday a Go-Ped ESR1000 Hoverboard Electric Scooter. He was very, very happy and enjoys running every day. Yeah, I know this is not a cheap gift but he really deserve the best and i love seeing him so happy :)

Lol, we talkin' bout' trick scooters.
