Barspins.

Alright, for about two months I've been having problems with barspins, I learn them on and off. I'm not sure if it is because Ive been going back and fourth between 14.5 wide and 13 wide. for the majority of the time I had 14.5 wides I had them fairly good only I seemed like I was catching them in the air but very close to flat, making it impossible to link tricks together. Since I have gotten rid off the bars that were 14.5 wide I'm forced to ride 13s, and cannot catch a single bar flat. I can spin them but not as fast as I want to, but mainly Im having trouble catching bars period. The scooter hits the ground and then I catch them, so I'm despirtely seeking help, I'm not looking for practice, or the Barspin Tutorial Video, I need purely help and tips on catching, landing, linking, techniqes, balancing, and whatever else. So yeah give me a hand, Thanks

Plese don't lock either, I really need help.

do a 1 handed x-up and throw it the rest of the way(about a quarter of the way) into your other hand. also try setting your scooter on a curb with the front off and practice there. i hope this helps.

yeah what nick said.practice 1 handed x-ups then
kind of lightly flick the bars with your hand and u should catch the bars.if not practice over and over
until it comes to u.

barspins are 100% a practice trick. How do you think people like dan warwick or stan got so good at barspins? Because they practiced them a lot, that's the foolproof way of learning them. Go sit your scooter on a stair or a curb, stand on it and practice throwing it until you can get it fast and smooth and you can do bar to bar to bar to bar to bar etc. in a straight smooth line without messing up. This however will not prepare you for what it's like to throw the bars in the air. That's pretty much commitment and practice to see what way is best and most comfortable for you to do them. Everybody barspins in a slightly different way, so you just gotta find out YOUR way of doing it by practicing lots. Hope this helps.

I am so sick of these threads, seriously. You haven't even searched, otherwise you wouldn't have made this thread. ITS JUST ABOUT PRACTICE.

yeah ive watched the video a bunch of times geuss im gunna keep practicing alot, also i think for me 13s make it hard because when i rode 14.5 wides i have them down pretty good i geuss switching back to 13s i lost them

qwxor

I got myself banned.
that is like 100% false <3

13 wides is the easiest thing to barspin on like ever. lol

you'll get it don't worry big guy<3

i went from 16.5 to stocks and i got them back in a day

what i do is when i land a trick like barspins for example, i'll do it like a bajillion times over and over until i have it like consistantly times 8. then just do them regularly and you won't forget them!

i think its fairly obvious what you need to do. jump higher, spin faster.
