blade brake SPRING

yeah I know the whole, you must use an old a spring (or original madd schwinn etc) or bend a new pro spring. I feel like a uber newb, that I actually have to make a thread on sr for THIS, but I just can't make it work. The pro spring just gets loose and rattles like fuck, and I just can't get the old a spring to work at all. I've already messed with it for 3 days.

Help me.

Don't even bother mentioning putting nickles in my brake, that has nothing to do with the scenario in this case.

You may have stretched the Pro spring too much. I did the same thing when I setup my first Blade brake. Just find a new spring and try not to over do the stepping on the spring.

actually dont even stretch the spring. just file out a slot for your spring to fit in on the brake. i did that and it worked perfectly
