I'm actually impressed by everyone. I rode back in the days where you could get beat up for scootering. You BMX'd or you skateboarded. I scoot. Back in the glorious days of bolting foldy mechs, homemade pegs, hot-glued wheels, shitty-ass spray paint for color. I'll be honest, there are all these new forks and decks out now, I have no idea anymore. I can't keep up. We had the very beginning of off-market parts. I loved green machine wheels. do people even use those anymore?
I don't really scooter much, I got together with my old riding buddy who happens to be my cousin. We're in college now and over summer he was like "wanna go ride?" I said yes, and we drove off with the scooters and the kicker. We established the basics again, some double whips, some finger whips...if that's even what you crazy kids call them these days. I'm sure trick tech and terminology has changed as well.
I'm just glad that scootering has come a long way and scooter resource is still bombin. I can draw that logo like nobody's business. I'm also happy my account is still alive, since it says my last visit was 04-04-2010, and I joined in 2007 (started "riding-riding" in 2004, took me a while to know of this site's existance. Same cousin showed me actually)
Keep riding. Avenge me.
