I don't really know the limitations of carbon fiber, but would it be possible to create a deck just as strong as a district with it? It would probably cost a crapton, but it would be so light it would definitely be worth it.
It was Micro and it was basically a pro model. It was like 300 bucks or so from what I remember and it was weak. Basically something you buy to hang on your wall. But some people were stupid enough to actually think they were strong and broke them.
VIP is making carbon fiber bars... They weighed about as much as 6 pieces of paper when I picked them up. Literally. And I actually thi k it would work pretty good seeing that now DH bikes are being made out of carbon fiber an they are working out really well. I just don't know how it would work on scooters

Think about it this way: NHL players use carbon fibre sticks and they break like every game. It's strong because it's flexy, but that also makes it flimsy, which makes a bad deck.
A carbon fiber deck plate is a crazy good idea though. like with a TSI frame or something. Kinda like what Primate Frames did. and it wouldn't need griptape cause you could make it bumpeh
Scooters are so ridgid now a days that it would most defintly break. Carbon fiber only works for bikes because downhill mountain bikes have crazy suspension and road bikes never leave the ground so it works for bikes. Theres a reason why carbon fiber bmx bike frames dont exist. Scooters are just so ridgid with no suspension or anything.
