Disappointment with Max Peters Bars Pt 2

I want to start off by saying that I feel like it was kind of ridiculous to lock the thread I previously made, as I started it to inform others of what deceived me, as well as try and make sure the pair I received werent defective. With regard to the comments made in the other thread- @Btyczki- I didn't want you to do anything about it, and I never asked you to. I feel like that was a pretty rude comment. I wish some people would take the time and post constructively as opposed to critically sometimes. Would be far more productive. And @BenJelinek- clearly I dont think the back sweep was bent out of my bars. I would think that as a "moderator" you'd take the time to answer positively as opposed to being a jerk and insulting my Intelligence man, I'm not fool.

Anyway, at first I thought it may have been wrongly advertised on ShopECX, so I checked into it. On the four other sites i checked, all conveniently posted the same error, and here are screen shots below.

I conclusion, I'm sorry if I myself was rude in this post, but I struggled with the fact that that post was not In the wrong section, was unoffensive, and was centered around a genuine concern I had and was trying to inform others and seek answers, yet you locked it for no reason. That frustrated me. Regardless, I'm merely looking for good and not trying to stir the pot.

Interesting that all of those sites have it wrong- the Blunt Site/catalog does not list any back sweep.

I'm not sure how old their catalog is- did they make New ones with Back sweep?

I have a feeling that the US Distributer somehow added the 5˚ back sweep and since all of the retail shops get their stuff from that one source they all added the incorrect description to their own sites.

First Blunt/Envy part I've ever purchased. I will say this, the welds are very uneven and the support tubing is not lined up at all, very unimpressed. But I'm sure they'll be fine.

There were two reasons I switched, I being that I have been having issues with the gussets on the FrIDs, when I throw bars if I don't catch them perfect the sharp edge on that gusset has been fucking my fingers up. The other is that I ended up winning that Ghost Flight in the TSI TShirt Contest (sorry to all those who hated the design, as I know there are many of you), and I'm going to be building that up and riding it for park, so I needed another set of bars. I liked the design on these as they are super similar to the French IDs, with the only difference being that the MPs have tubular gussets vs. the plate guessets on the FrIDs.

not really... backsweep is comfortibility color has nothing to do with the feel...

Not exactly-

Good info iffin' someone else is thinking of buying the bars because they have back sweep but they actually do not.

Would you get pissed if someone said "hey, there's a speed trap down the road, heads up"

Seems like the Op is just providing info about a product that is labeled incorrectly- not complaining about being sent the wrong item.

That's not it at all man! The point is that these bars don't come with back sweep, although advertised this way. I wasnt bitching I was just giving people a heads up. I called ECX, and haven't heard back. I don't want anyone to do anything, I'm not bitching, I'm just informing and you guys are all fucking hating. I'm not up in your ----- and I didn't make this thread to piss anyone off. I was merely stating facts. Trying to act like the adult I am. If you want to act 12, and be un-productive, there are plenty of threads to do that in. Jesus. You guys are relentless. I'll remember that next time I try to help out others and prevent them from making the same mistake I did.

I agree man, I probably should have waited until I heard from ECX. But, I didn't expect to get flamed, as for the most part threads I've made in the past that have been of this nature have been well received, I had no reason to think this would be any different.
