Does anyone else play disc/frisbee golf? I started playing with a some people from my youth group a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked. There are a couple of courses in my area, which I've played them all. I go about twice a week and always bring some of my friends who have never done it before to try and get them on the bandwagon. I even have a good set of about 6-7 discs that I always bring with me. Do any of you guys play it? And what's your opinion on it? I guess I'm just curious about how many other people play it because it is a relatively small sport.

It's a lot of fun, I always used to lose my frisbees, and it sucks, because they are 10-15 dollars each.

My main course has a pro shop and it is sick. If you found lost frisbees then you can sell it to them or trade it for a better disc. I have my name and phone number on all of mine so if I lose one ill most likely get it back

I want to try to start playing this summer. I play Ultimate Frisbee and it could really help me with my long distance throws.

If you play with an ultimate disc, then it can help you. But not if you use a golf disc. When you throw an ultimate disc long ranges, you throw from low to high. With a golf disc you throw high to high. It definitely is great practice if you play it with an ultimate disc and that's how I learned to throw it long range in ultimate but yeah you should definitely try it out its a whole lot of fun
