i can do about 1.25 or 1.5 whips so far.... and i've been trying double whips forever so dont tell me practice because it's obviously not going anywhere for a while. give me your "tricks" to doing double whips.

as much as you don't want to hear this, you have to learn them off of smaller and smaller things. like learn them into relatively small banks, get them really good into those. next you want to jump really high, go really fast, and just huck the whips. after landing your first few you will get them down and you can hop less high/get them cleaner.

I've been landing these toes on flat for about two months now. Most annoying thing ever.

Your gonna hate to hear this, but it really works. Go off a kicker, a small kicker, then work your way down till you get it flat. Once you start to get the muscle memory from landing it off a kicker or ledge, it starts to come naturally flat.

just jump higher and keep your feet together let the deck come to u don't try to bring the deck in just let it flow and the only other thing i can tell u is use ur hands to whip it

i wish i could even get that close. hahaha
Just keep doing them, they'll eventually click.
i guess so, but i've been trying them for months :((
jup high and kick alot harder than a normal whip and using your wrists is key
well duh haha hasn't been working out :pPP
Kick as hard as you can and learn on smaller and smaller things. That's what helped me a lot.
alright ill try to find a ledge or something

do you go to a skatepark?
learn them INTO small banks first. small banks are abundant at skateparks
and if you can't do that, then you need to eat protein and drink muscle milk.

go to the skatepark when its closed and hop the fence to get in

nah its closed only at late night after curfew and to make sure you cant climb the fence the fences are really high. and if i got caught i would be in huge trouble

Jump high, lean forward and KEEP IT UNDER YOU!!!! They feel really hard when you're learning them, but once you land one it feels really easy. Committing to landing is the hardest bit, as soon as you jump you'll know if you're going to land it.

Learn them off a higher curb that goes slightly uphill. I know you said you don't want to hear that, but something like a double whip is not something you just learn flat (though technically you could.) The uphill part makes it easier for you because gravity isnt making you accelerate up until the point that you do the trick.

The biggest tips: Spin the deck with your wrists quickly and evenly and KEEP THE DECK UNDER YOU! That's easily the most important part. Trying to spin the deck quick will often cause you to lose control when trying to muscle out the rotation. If the rotation is a whole 2 rotations but 3 feet away from you at the end, it's much worse than a rotation and a half that stayed under your feet.

Keep learning off smaller things working your way to flat.
Keep the deck centered under your feet, don't let it get in front or to the side of you.
Keep excercizing those wrists. Even no comply double whips would help you learn how
much a wrist trick it actually is. Do those.
KEEP PRACTICING!

Honestly, before I could do doubles I just practiced the motion and spinning it really fast with just my hands. Eventually I got the muscle memory of it tried it off small things then eventually got them flat.
