shopping centers
industrial area's
schools (especially colleges or universities)
cities

Cities, schools, industrial buildings, the ghetto usually have spots, go look man. Also watch skate videos by people in your area and look for things in the video that will help you figure out where the spots are, like businesses, street signs, or billboards.

universities all day errday nigga, also big cities that have weird architecture, because it is usually good to ride. it's why france is so good for street

creep skaters' instagrams, specifically their photomaps, i've found exact spot locations this way.

Just go to central and walk around for a while and you recognise so many spots from friendly flicks

build some connections with older dudes that know the lay of the land. but jordan and tom pretty much told you all you need to know.

I use google maps satellite view. I'm one of the newer/younger riders in the group of people I ride with so they pretty much know all the spots. But google maps works wonders.
