Forum discussion section?

I think we should have a section on the site thats all about the actual forum, and our views on it. Even though I'm sure nothing will get done because pretty much all the staff on this site do is what is in their best interest and ban people, but its just a thought, to try to put more power in the members.

I know that, but they rarely take the member input into consideration, and when they do nothing gets done.

Yeah. We love banning people. Who have I banned recently parrish?
Can you tell me one person?

Believe me, I'd love to do more with the forum to make it more interesting. I'm not good with scripting so I wouldn't be much use anyway, but there's a lot of suggestions i'd like to see done as well (chatbox, user titles, etc.)

Before you just go and tell us we're all ban happy, think more about what causes the bans first, we don't just ban people we don't like (80% of the forum would be gone.) we have good reasons behind what we do.

lol for real, if we banned people on this forum everytime a rule was broken, sr would come to an end, there would be nobody left.

There have been countless threads about giving suggestions and stuff like that. But they always go off topic and turn into a war of whether you like the mods, dont like the mods, only like certain ones, or agree/disagree with what were doing.
This thread is already going down the same path as the others.

So heres a suggestion; If you have a suggestion, send it somewhere that will matter. Some might be worth threads, but others could be sent through PMs straight to who ever could help.
Most people dont care enough to actually make intelligent suggestions. They just come in threads like this, bitch, but dont even try to do anything to make it better.

okAy.... i wanted my name changed did i get it no."guys they aren't going to change your name too some ridiculous name with a bunch of number and caps and stuff...if they change it its going to be your first and last name only" no mod stepped up and said that a member did


but this isn't about me its about the SR community.
The little time i spend on SR i have noticed two thing the mods ether don't post or only post against another member to scold them (iv seen it happen may times) if you guys would be a Little nicer and listen to our insights maybe you would not have long time members like Parrish with a lot of posts.
asking for a forum to input his and other ideas, if were only asking for a little change. maybe this forum has problems fix em or as i said in my post u don't care i`m pretty sure people are tired of seeing a grey border line. point me to some one i have to prove it to - MRS

so whats my punishment or are you gonna tell me this was an ignorant post and a little retarded :eek:

Haha. U shouldnt need the mods to tell you that that was an ignorant post... But there is some truth in there. Brock May started to really do stuff for this forum... and now he's just a M3MB3R. The Derp List, and all that other stuff would be fantastic for this forum.
EDIT: and I've been noticing a serious trend lately. Rob getting called out for reasons.... Defending himself. And then not changing AT ALL.
