( castrol extrme pressure in a bucket)

basically i want to buy headset grease and i want the headset to be fast, will these work well or could i put oil and grease in the headset to add speed? also does branding make much difference as the other grease is the same grade as the castrol and is much cheaper. also i would buy to the uk so no us websites please

get some real car mechanics bearing grease, my dad has this 20 year old tub of it and it works great, it's red.

i would buy the grease from the uk, also all the grease i've looked at seems to be NLGI2 grade on all the different tubs so i dont see a reason to pay twice as much for branded grease unless it is better which noone has told me.

to be safe i might go with castrol actually as the price difference isnt much and you get more in the tub and i know i can trust it

You don't want to put grease in a headset unless its unsealed.

^ This; with a sealed headset it doesn't make any difference.

Wrong. Any bearing you want to put grease on. Especially if it has metal to metal contact. That doesnt mean you put a handful of grease in your bearings but a nice coat will help alot.
