grinding the welds

if you dont grind the welds off of bars such as inwards wat will it do? i like the look of fat welds, so i requested that they not be grinded off.

Is there a problem with my decision?

nothing wrong with it. it actually compromises the bars strength when grinded down. how much; I am not sure. But having them grinded only gives the bars a "smoother" look for those who don't like the look of the welds.
ungrinded bars = <3333

Does anyone else besides me think grinded welds are a joke?
Either lay some nice beads down or dont make them at all.
The only time welds should ever be grinded is when they are in the way/making room for a fit etc.

Yeah true BUT you gotta admit, some big sloppy ass welds are a lot uglier than bars with nice grinded, barely noticeable welds..

The only time I can see ground welds having a point is on some dope as bike that's all custom and stuff, where looks are the main key. On scooters it really doesn't matter, and the only thing grinding the welds could do is sacrifice strength. I'm not saying it does (and I don't have any proof) but it can't make them stronger.

i was practising welds today and i made silly
one peices and i put 1 weld
and then another 2 arount them
a reinforcment welds and it actually works
lol
