Don't do that. They're no good for scooters. Smooth, but real slow.

Get a cane creek s1, they're the strongest option. Made of steel.

It might be "better", but it's definitely weaker. Cane creek has 5 models worth buying in my opinion:

-Cane Creek Tank II: This headset is UNSEALED and made of steel, only good if you like unsealed, which is stupid in my opinion.

-Cane Creek S1: This is their only steel THREADLESS headset. It is their strong threadless headset, but it doesn't have all the precision gimics and such. It's strong, fast, smooth.

-Cane Creek S3: This is their bottom of the line aluminum THREADLESS headset. It's not as strong as the S1, but it's lighter by like nothing.

-Cane Creek S8: This is made more precise and with better materials than the S3. It's made of aluminum, lighter, and has "better" bearings than the S3. You won't notice any difference on a scooter.

-Cane Creek 110: This is their top of the line headset. It's aluminum, really light, really strong (because of the way it's made), and comes with a lifetime warranty on all the parts no matter how they're broken. Your best choice if you've got the money.

If you've got the money, go with a 110, it's made of aluminum, but really strong, and has a full warranty on everything, so even if you broke it, they replace the part with overnight shipping. If you're strapped on cash, go with the S1. Inexpensive, reliable, strong, smooth, pretty much everything you need.
