Hey guys ive been trying 360 whips and lately and I've been getting closer and closer but I feel like when I catch the deck I'm not spinning hard enough and when I don't catch it I spin hard enough. I'm having trouble really getting the spin and the whip simultaneously. Any tips? Thanks. And I've been trying them up this cement ramp thing that goes up and levels out ^So I get more height

I like catching them with my 1 foot when im at the 180, and as soon as I catch it and spin hard til I get the 360, and put my other foot on. Hope this helps :)

^ Alright thanks man I'm about to go out to that spot and have my dad film like we usually do. Filming helps so I can see what I'm doing right or wrong. I'll definetly try that.

Always spin harder than you normally would, keep your head turned. Wait until you're almost to 180 to throw the whip, otherwise your spin will get off axis and jacked up. Make sure you're able to catch whips without looking down, otherwise 360 whips are really complicated. Catching with your back foot first makes them way easier. So lucky you.

Yeah I can tailwhip with my eyes closed and catch it but I always seem to throw the whip at the beginning rather than the end

get 180 whips really dialed, like not on banks but like to fakie. Helps you get the feel of the rotation.

Just keep trying them, and focus really hard. I know exactly what you're talking about. Sometimes when I do 3 whips, it's just effortless and I can do them suuuper clean. But sometimes I'm just not trying hard enough or not focusing, and I end up throwing the whip immediately. You just have to keep doing them right, and once you stop doing them wrong, do something else for a while.

Dont listen to Brandon. K these things are my trick I'm so good at em. Not to be cocky. So you wanna whip exactly when you start spinning and catch it by the time you hit a 180 with one foot, and then put your other foot on like right after. You don't wanna spin your deck to early thiough or it will hit the ramp just do it right when you get past the lip. You don't need to spins harder then normal because the whip helps you go faster and when you do them once again try to catch the deck as early as possible it helps so much

Try focusing more on catching the whip, rather than spinning fast enough.
Just throw your body a little more than you would for a normal 360 and CATCH IT AT 180! Really important if you want to land this clean.
