Helping the sport!

So it usually is me and one other rider at my local park, but recently we have been talking to the little kids who show up with their parents (on razors) and my friend and I have created a little group of scooter kids (ages 7-12ish) the kids are now riding RUPs and MGP nitros... haha...
I feel that I have helped out our sport by adding some younger riders who will probably stick with it for awhile.

Anyone else done something like this? I feel pretty good that I know I was their reason for getting into the sport.

Also I convinced one of the freshman at my school to get a RUP, he ordered it tonight, he is pretty psyched out to ride with my friend and I (he is a sophomore and I am a Junior), The only odd part of him starting to ride is that he is pretty preppy and is very popular in his grade (He is a pretty-boy haha), the kid is awesome though, I kinda hope he makes some more scooter kids in his grade tho, 3 people isn't much of a crew

When I started a year and a half ago, I was literally the only scooter rider at my local. Now, everyone knows me, I have a couple friends who scooter, and there are a lot more randoms who show up with scooters now. I'm not a fan of all the little kids on scooters who don't do shit but get in peoples' way though, I think when it comes to them, I agree with DavidCronin.

Well the fact of the matter is that it doesn't take nearly as much skill to ride down a quarter pipe on a scooter than a skate board. 99% of little kids on scooters have no business being in a skate park, their parents think the place is a day care or something and drop them off with their almost broken A models from Walmart that have a 52 degree headtube angle and let them ride around all day while they sit there in their M Class Mercedes and read, not giving them any instruction at all and not caring when they almost get trucked 50 times when they snake the hell out of people.

I kinda want it to just be the 6 of us at my local Again
Same. There are some people that, when they started riding, I was stoked for them. Now they have turned into cocky shits and I find any excuse to not ride my local.

I am still the only rider at my local which is a good thing seeing as i never get snaked by little scooter kids and i get along with all the skaters.

Well how do you think all these kids got fucking MGP nitros? haha, yeah they are spoiled little shits but at least two of them will evolve into better riders, the rest will just kinda leave or die off

And yes, I am treating them like wild animals.

Same thing happens at the park I always go to with my friend Matt. Theres sooo many more people on scooters, or just generally respecting scooters now. Older and younger people.
Theres even some bikers that used to dis scooters riding with us now. Some of them are actually good too. its awesome.

I think the little kids should practise not in the park first untill they learn to ride and the skateparks "rules" before they go out straight away and snake everyone. Theyre should be a test for you to use the park :)

r-dubya and i ride at the same park and the little kids there are so annoying, the park isnt big and the little kids bring their stuff when their brother has a baseball game or something and the just sit in the middle and get in everyones way, especially when theres like a party there
