HIC Compatible

This is probably a dumb question, but does anyone know for sure if HIC Bars will work on a threaded fork?

you would need the shim.

it would have to be a chromo hic shim, because i'm 80% sure that if you used an aluminum shim then it would put threads onto the aluminum like when you use just aluminum bars. but i could be wrong.

Yea I have the chromo shim and I know I have to use it with the threaded forks, but I just wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks.

i think so,i tried but i didnt know howw to stretch my clamp back in,but if i did im sure it would have worked.

Yes it works fine with a cromo shim.
Not alu though.
