HIC or SCS

Well from the looks of it, HIC with a Phoenix fork (what i have) is the best way to go. But I've heard that it gets messed up and sucks. I might get the Proto SCS but it looks heavy and unnecessary. Also I can't find anywhere to get an oversized clamp.

Please give me your thoughts on what I should do.

I'm ordering my shit from inward so it would be nice if they had it, but they don't at the moment.

do not get a lucky bub clamp....idk i have the same problem as you i really like the SCS system but i dont like the look of the Proto...and the phoenix baby SCS and grande dont fit oversize bars and i hate double clamp because honestly they suck. i am just thinking about geting a French ID tripple os clamp with a regular HIC(hiddin internal compression). Iwish they would have more scs sytems out there and the proto scs is about 9 oz not as heavy as people think but i think they could make a cooler looking and lighter verson. BTW baby SCS does not work with over size bars. (only a oz. lighter anyway). the best bet is a scs or a tipple or quad clamp.

SCS no slits
HIC easier to use
SCS takes both oversized and standard bars
HIC takes only oversized bars
SCS less expensive if you already have bars
HIC less expensive if you get an HIC kit with your oversized bars

I like SCS more. No pressure cracks near slits. No snapped bars at slits. I can use any bars I want
You may like HIC because its easier to use for some people, is the HIP MAINSTREAM WAY TO DO IT, you like double clamp looks. Or you were getting new bars cause your old ones broke and you just got an HIC kit with your bars.
