Okay guys, I was thinking like a mind fucker last night, Heres the idea: It's like hic\ics put together, Theres a cap on the bottom of the forks, and a cap on the top, You have a bolt going through one cap to the other, and a shim, the shims just a bit of a bakebean can....I know it sounds poor :L . But what do you guys think? Idc what you opinion is.

Cheers, Ben.

so many people have already thought of that. idk why no one has tried it yet. it seems like it would work well. and why would you ask what people think but not care what there opinion is?

Idunno. Idont care if it's good, or bad, i just want your opinion if it makes sence. lawl.

the stock nitro compression isnt like this, instead of a starnut, it has a nutt in the bottom, and theres a bolt going threw the hic, its so you can use the forks for ics aswell..

I did this with my SCS once. I ran a long bolt that was the perfect fit for my FrID fork's bottom, up through a modified washer. It worked very well, but was annoying to tighten.

Our current compression systems are fine enough.

Sorry for the 6 year bump,
But yeah, im running it with HIC, i have zero offset epic forks and starnuts are a pain to get in so im running a threaded only bolt with two nuts, one on the botton of my fork, and the other on the top of my hic shim, best compression ive used:) Headset is dialed to shittt:) and spins hella. But you need sockets to tighten.
