How to Drop In

Hi,
I'm new to scootering and have got my first scooter (MGP Team Edition) I can drop in smaller ramps but I drop in real sketchy I put half the deck over the coping and lean forward and my back wheel hits the coping and fly's in the air about 2cm this doesn't matter on smaller ramps but when I try to drop in the Quarter Pipe its allot bigger and steeper so my back wheel kinda fly's in the quite high and I nearly flipped over the bars yesterday! any tips on dropping in the quarter?
Thanks :)

Can't tell if trolling but......

Watch how other kids do it at the skate park. Its easier to roll at a steady speed, then lift up your front wheel and hop in. you will get much more speed too.

I do that if I don't want too much speed, you gotta do a mini endo to avoid your back wheel hitting the coping, you'll get it eventually.

Just kind of pump in. Like use the same motion you use when trying to gain speed down ramps.
But once you're comfortable, it doesn't really matter how you drop in.

Man up and hop in. Be rolling up, really slow, and then hop, and try to get your deck parallel with the quarter. Pretty much it :)

I naturally acid drop in. But yeah I'll say how I learnt.
For a couple days I practiced riding slowly at a 180 degree angle with the quarter, then putting down my foot and "Hopping" into the quarter. After getting really comfortable with that, I went to a small quarter and did the same thing, without putting my foot down. Once again getting them really comfortable I moved to a slightly larger quarter, and slowly built up. Now I can basically drop in on anything. Try this! It should help.

ok what u gotta do is when u lean forward, do a mini nose manual/hang 5. dont do it too much, just a mini one at the beginning so the back wheel misses the coping.

hang your front wheel over the coping and lean forward and keep leaning forward but not too much so your back wheel doesnt hit the coping or footplant in or hop in footplant is easier and hopping in is scarier but you get more speed
