how to fix 'slippery' brakes

haha, lawl griptape will RAPE ur wheel, get a brake that is a softer metal such as aluminum , if u already do, i got 2 questions. 1 what brake do u have? and 2, how worn down is ur wheel?

as in the contact of the wheel and underside of the brake is not very good/slippery/not grippy and its shocking when i try to do wheelies and tire taps

razor old a brakes are fine, tsi flexfenders ii think, blade break, etc. and if u cut ur brake too short thatll also screw u up

blade brakes are good from what ive heard,
razor brakes are shocking after a while, i burnt through one, it turned coppery colour :S

use an old a brake or b model brake, there hella thicker and aluminum. or get a blade, on my spare, i have an old a one and im satisfied with it

i think he means slippy on the top of the brake lol, you could but dents in it with a screwdricer and a hammer, might add some grip. if it dont youll just have a brake with a fuckload of dents in lol
