Somone posted in the chatbox about magazines. The magazines people tried to make in the past failed, i think Miles was making one, and Josh started one but it never came out. Theres alot of people in the scene now and i think we could get somthing going. If we were to get somthing started, heres an idea of the staff that seems good to me

Writers
Steven Toungston
Ryan Whetstone
Kenny Giguere
Jesse Macaluso

Photographers
Casey Murphy

This would be an online magazine unless somone has access to somewhere to print out like copies of a magazine. Each issue would have a a video with it. My idea for the video would be.. collecting footage from different groups of riders and putting togeather a video to show how the scene in their area is doing, progressing, and to expose any riders that aren't really big the online scene, yet. The mag would have sections for interviews, ads, featured mini video, product reviews and more.

So anyone have any input on this and if they want to do it? Any suggestions for the mag or staff?

sounds pretty cool, kind of like 411for skateboarding except for its not on dvd and its not skateboarding. I am willing to help out as much as i can.

PROFIT = the excess of income over all costs and expenses.

but if say 30 people subscribed, that would be $300, say take $100 for printing and theres 10 peopleon the board, thats $20 a person for doing something for the sport

30 people subscribe at the price of $10

$100 twoards print
$20 to TIC comp
$20 to TZ comp
$10 dollars goes to SR
$10-20 for any extra materials (CD-R's for videos, contests, ect)

Left over money goes to the staff for theyre work :)

OR you could save it up and have a contest for something and have people submit stuff and give away scooters/parts/ and get signed stuff

Right now i would rather have it on paper, it would seem so much more real and you can take it places and show it off haha.
