my headset is pretty tight will it ruin the bearings?

How tight is too tight? Its a FSA ORBIT MX, so sealed bearings, will having the headset tight ruin/crush the bearings?

I dont think it will.... But i dont know....... Make sure you clean the headset though because then the bearings will be demolished....... Thats what happened to me

I've heard that with the forks and compression, it should be tight enough that you can spin the fork without the wheel on one revolution and it should be about right. I wouldn't tighten it a lot, thats a 70 dollar headset.

Okay, when the bars are on it spins around 3 times, I think it should be alright

It won't hurt anything, it's worse to have it loose.
