My headsets loose like a slutt and i cant get my scs dialed

ok first of all i tried tighting my headset but it failed i might need a new one cos the top cap is fucked and i cant get my scs dialed i tighten everything up i got a apex v2 scs clamp but i might get a proto can someone help me thanks

The only information you gave us was that you tried tightening but it failed? If you could provide some more information to why and where it failed that would help. Like is the clamp stripped, or is the headset not put in properly?

There is absolutely no way any of us are going to be able to help you with such a vague description of the problem. Pictures of the "fucked" top cap and your headset would help.

lol um it the clamp seems to be fully tight but it has heeps more thread to tighting on and with the top cap when i put it on the forks it just slides off and it doesnt hold it i have a fsa orbit z

I have no clue if I'm interpreting this correctly...but you tighten the SCS onto your fork and it doesn't grab onto the fork? First off, tighten the compression bolt first, and then move on to the 4 SCS bolts. And if it's the problem I described above, you might have to make some soda can shims to get it nice and dialed.

cheers dude thanks i will try cos there seems to be alot of play in the shim i tryed running oversized bars and it was heeps good. and when i wobble it i dont see play in the headset its in the clamp so yea i will try that thanks cya
