my scooter ran fine until the cold hit .

I wasnt exactly sure where to post but I figured maybe I'll make a new thread. my scooter is a chironex vinny 150 , fuel injected carb. it ran fine until this morning it was cold and my air supply ( the tube between my air filter and carb ) apparently it fell off . so I got that back on and it still wouldn't start . I warmed the engine with a heater and charged my battery . By this time it's -2 celsius and it's snowing lightly . Warmed the engine and the battery and tried again nothing . It's kicking over and sounds like it wants to start. I don't have a kick because it had a clutch replacement . I want to know if it's possible to get it to start in colder weather ? Maybe heat the engine longer and place stuff around it to keep it warm ? I also don't have an indoor garage so I do everything outside as long as it's not raining .

put it in a fire to warm it up then start it

your best bet would be to warm up the gas its self. maybe put a hot blanket around the fuel tank. The engine being warm isn't going to help all that much considering operating temperatures are much higher than what you're likely putting out.

The battery shouldn't be an issue either.

Does it run on an oil/gas mix or is it straight gas?
