No, it's cro-mo outer, alum inner. AKA, pointless. The inner aluminum sleeve doesn't do ----- the cro-mo is much stronger so it's pointless to try and "reinforce" the inside of it with a weaker material. I think it would be awesome if they were the other way around, cro-mo inner with replaceable aluminum or plastic outer sleeves. I made a huge rant about this on Blunt's facebook and the owner completely disagreed with me, he said that the aluminum makes it stronger but he also made Blunt decks so what the hell does he know.

They're already chromo, and look thick enough to be a standalone peg. The aluminum serves absolutely no purpose.

i dun think the allu is reinforcment

my guess:
alluminum is to take weight off the peg base

cro-mo is to make the peg slide better on concrete

The aluminium is to make it thicker, because on it's own the chromo would be too thin and thickening it would make it too heavy?
I dont know but it is pretty retarded, i cant really find a point to it. But we all (should) know that chromo slides alot better and lasts alot longer.

I like the idea of having a color on the inside like that, but there is a flaw with the design because its a weaker material on the inside, It should be weaker on the outside, stronger on the inside.
