Hey guys, I saw on blunts facebook page that they are coming out with new metal core wheels called Blunt rebates. They have changeable urethane, and you can change from 100mm to 110mm if you want, and you can even switch PU's. Any body stoked on these? Or think it won't work?

links to anything that has todo with this?

Its on thier new facebook yo, i am hoping this works, because no company is stupid enough to just throw a product to the world and HOPE it works. There has to be some kind of prototype or testing that went into this. Yeah, but it cost more then any other wheel I think...

This is what I thought, but the way we thought of was to bond the polyurethane to a metal strip, then tighten the core to the metal strip. They're way might be different.

At that point, though, you're losing money. It doesn't save the company (or the customer) money to make up for the part count.

This is assuming that the connection between the hub and rim is bulletproof, which honestly I doubt. Bolts are going to shear.
