Thought i let people know that iv'e tried riding with no griptape for a few weeks now and its actually pretty great, i really thought i'd fall off all the time but it only happened on a turndown which makes sense. Can't forget the main benefit, your shoes dont wear out. only bit on my shoes that are warn out are heels and toes from shit landings, rest of the shoe hasnt changed a bit.

well i got an addict and i liked the green but clear grip sucks. i left it off before i put new stuff on it but i went for a ride and enjoyed. it helps me with alot of tricks being able to slide across the deck, holes in the deck make it even better

I got myself banned.
i rode my district for a day or two without griptape... made me realize that griptape really isnt necessary if you dont want it... feet stick just fine and it looks loads cooler

I tried riding without griptape once, about 2-3 years ago on my pro model.
I aired the spine and smacked my head on the other quarter because my feet flew off.

I used to really like the idea of deck pins but I do loadsa techy stuff now so I move my feet a lot. But no grip is actually quite nice - I've done it a few times.

Griptape is too heavy for billie rainbow!

hahaha just playing man, I seen a few kids at the park without grip recently and they seemed mostly in control although they can't do that much

Rode with shitty dying griptape and i felt unsafe.
Couldn't imagine boosting with no grip at all.

I rode my pro model a few years back with no griptape cause I couldn't afford it haha. It wasn't that bad, really scary riding in the wet though, as soon as your soles got wet you were gone. I also struggled to do tailwhips at first but once you get used to it it's pretty much the same as with griptape.

My old blunt griptape was worn down to the point where it was like paper, and my heels used to fly off the deck when I did like 360 combos and stuff, I can't ride without griptape haha
