hammer it in really gently, this may take a while but its worth it, if u hammer it too hard itll break...no homo lol

no use a axle and another bearing so put them both in a little put the axle through with a another bearing and tighten it until it stops then untighten and there u go

u think if i used a rubber mallet it would work?

dont listen to the other guys by doing that the bearings wont be put in evenly...and it doesnt matter if its rubber or metal if u hit it hard itll break, so hammer it in realllyyyyyy gently..it may take long but itll go sooner or later

Use an axle with another bearing to press it in. You will break the bearing if you don't use another bearing to spread the load.

I use a long bolt + bearings instead of a bearing axle and bearings.
Socket wrenches make it a faster/easier installation.

We opened up the bearing bores on all the new Grippers and Sliders so you can practically put bearings in with your fingers now. Go in easy, come out easy and spin for days.

To answer the question just prop the wheel up on both sides so the bearing can fall out and stick something through the other bearing like an allen key at an angle and hammer on it until it come out. Hammering it in a circle so it comes out evenly usually helps too. Also when you put new bearings in it is good to lube the inside of the wheel so they slide in and out easier.

This isn't a fucking Proto vs Eagle thread.
It's an "I need help with my wheel" thread.

Be patient! If you don't wack it to hard it won't break and it WILL come out. I have this problem with most of my wheels! =)
