no, you just need either or. i like using the top cap, so i can put the proto star on my keychain

like the top cop that comes with your headset? im pretty sure you dont need a top cap cus the proto star is basically the top cop and then all you need is the bolt

Use a headset top cap, I'd put my proto coin somewhere else like a necklace.
