I am new to scooter riding, use to be a biker but I am much better at scooter riding. I was wondering if I should cut down my brake I see that, many people do that by looking at pictures. I don't know what the purpose is, if it is for better stopping or weight but give me some feed back.

No, they do it so they dont get caught on it when they push. well at least that is what i think. it all depends on what you are used to.

I did it when I had one. You do it so it feels a little better looks better and makes it quieter since it's nit so heavy. But if u do it maybe only 1 1/2 to 2 inches at most

they dont wear down your wheel as fast, as there is less brake to make contact with the wheel

lol people just cut it down because it looks cool and it wont bend if you hit the brake on a front scooterflip or something. if you have the tools then go for it if not it doesnt really matter.

yeah its just a dialled thing. the shorter it is, the less the rebound rattle when you land. but you just need to cut it flush with the back of the deck. like rob said
