I heard that the guitar stuff isn't as good as Guitar Hero, but I'm sure they'll make up for it with the drums/singing.

the songs they have in that game suck ass for the most part. More than half the songs are shite. The drumming stuff should be sick though, and timmy and the lords of the underworld is a bonus song ahahaha, that would be so much fun to sing

i like the idea behind rockband but overall im not impressed at all by the layout and graffics of the notecharts and such it feels like your almost playing a real kinda technical shit so yea and how the hell is the mic supposed to work like how can you hit notes by singing that sounds a lil dumb but i dont understand but w/e great idea but they half assed it imo.

Same as all the karaoke games work. It basically tells if your singing the write part by how high your voice is and if you hitting the gaps between the words right. You can just hum into the mic and it thinks your singing.

juts played it at walmart and the guitar blows. but dont worry its just the beta version of the guitar so the real one should be wayyy better. i liked the gameplay of it. it was really fun

Im pretty positive that all the demos at the store are the real things. I don't think they had the pedals for the drums out though.

yeah theres no pedals for the drums but i heard that the instruments were just crappy beta versions and that some of the instruments were shipped out broken to the walmarts and such

the drums actually come with pedals tho.....and if you dont like the guitar you can just use GUITAR HERO's guitar.....loooks dank to me...

cuz like...the graphics ARE better...and they have a bigger SELECTION of songs....so i like it...plus ya...the mic" is like karaoke....pitch and other vocals stuff...looks good to me...

only downfall...

the price...

$168 bucks...

Well im gonna play it at my friends house and he's gonna wait at BestBuy or somewhere else. He has girlish hair (very long) so he's gonna be the singer, lol

David you might be right about the guitar. I read on some forums that peoples guitars are dead after a day of playing already, and people are saying the drums sensitivity is weird... game sounds beat on the controller side.

I want a good drum game to comeout because personaly I love to play and it is a easy game to make because if they can make Iphones and can make guitar hero they sure can make a semi good american drum game with music we listen too.

Konamia has patents on Drummania, Guitar Freaks, Karaoke Revolution and some other instrument games, i have no idea how Harmonix gets past the patents (probably permission from Konami) but if any other company were to make an instrument game Konami would probably sue them. It already happened when this company made this game In The Groove which was a DDR 'copy' but 1000x better than DDR
