Here's an idea for someone. There are some long skate or bike movies. with actualy some plot going on. This divides into two catchegorys:
1.This is more about fiction and it is based on a typical scheme:
1.Main character is the best local rider in town.
2.There's some sort of a big comp going to take place and he must win it for some reason.
3.He has some sort of enemy, either a local bully or a pro rider that's full of shit.
4.He finds a girl, etc etc (unless he's a little kid).
5.He wins the comp, usually fighting with his enemy head to head for the win, hooray!
The typical example would be the RAD bmx movie, something like 'Supercross' or something with a kid with a skateboard (who had a magic board which gave him skatinig abilities but in the final comp he cant use it but still wins). Ive heard that there has already one like that made about scooters but it sucked ass.
2.This one has a wacky stupid plot, interrupted with riding sections, an example would be the "Until monkeys fly" movie with Matt Hoffman playing the role of an evil space lord who sends his apprentice the 'Monkey Boy' back in time to the today times to collect the parts of a super duper bmx bike from bmx pros. Another good example would be "The search for Animal Chin".
If someone has time/riders/good cameras etc he might try to film something like that, maybe just for fun. Dont say 'why dont you do that?' cause I have neither of the stuff I have just listed. It would be cool if someone could do like a parody of type 1, as the plot is so stupid and obvious. What do you think about it?
