Well I have been screwing around on a scooter for about a year. But just recently have I actually tried to do tricks other than tailwhips. So I would say seriously riding for about a month.

My join date was when I first had an interest in riding, and wanted to lurk, I didn't really even start riding until my friend gave me his Ultra Pro Lo back in May.

Nice ideas! I can certainly see you being a unique rider in the future. I wasn't expecting the deck grab from a BMX rider haha.

Welcome to scooting. :)

Hahah, why do you say that?

What do you guys think I should begin to work on? I really don't want to be the trendy rider, doing Bri flips and that stuff.

you have a sick style man. work on catching your bars better. Try double whips off curbs and get all of your tricks into, in, and out of fakie

Get basics dialed as fuck. ( 360, 180, whips, bars)
Go fast well make you stand out alot even if its nothing crazy
Ollie high or some call it bunny hop, whatever, ethier way if you jump high as fuck going fast it looks steeze.
being clean
Those are about the main things id like to see more that not a lot of people do.

The nollie bar and 180 bar to halfcab bar were both switch. The only regular bar I did was on the incline. So that's why it does look a little sketchy, working on it.

Grabs are more of a skateboard style of trick in my eyes, I dunno, just surprised me lol.

You've taken to street as a starting point, soooo work on your speed, practice combos and lines, incorporate more tricks you would've done in BMX. And grabs! Grabs aren't a trick often done, work on getting more variations. :)

Get your tricks down going fast. Jump high, like said above. Try tricking a stairset, it should help if your coming from bmx. Scootering helped me with biking, when I first learned to 180 sets on my bike. Barspins, tailwhips and 360s are easy down sets, and if you land properly, 180s are easy too. Just DONT land on your brake at all.
