Some tricks I almost have. need help on.

You poeple give me great advice. On tricks so here are some I almost have and need some tips thanks.

360's-I pretty much have the spin I just cant seem to keep my scooter from landing sideways. I have 180s already. I cant spot my landing vey well I just spin like my life depends on it.

Tailwhips-I am so close I just land 1 foot every single time. I keep hitting my front ankle back lands on it every time.

Barspins- IDK if im ready to learn them, It eathier goes half way because I let go late it looks more like a X-up. or I got the bars but cant catch it. These have been scaring me latley. I hit my rib.

Fakie- I can halfcab out of 180s. I just cant ride faike at all. I think im turning the hard way Im backside i get confused when im fakie. I also would like to learn how to turn out.

So tips for these would be great. I have been scootering almost 2 whole weeks. I want to beat my cosin whos been scootering longer than me in scoot. I also just really want to learn these tricks

Whips: keep the scooteer under u
Bars: just let go with one hand and push the bars around with the other then be prepared to catch it with ur free hand
Fakies: practice
360s: try them off of curbs then progress to flat

i think i told you before on a different thread but a big thing that ive seen alot of people have a problem with is people need to pull up their legs higher when your learning to whip, so throw the whip and bend your knees alot so you have more time for the deck to whip around before you stick it

dude, it's 100% practice. it took me 3 months to land my first tailwhip. it's just all about practice dude. same with all those tricks.

just commit.... What helped me with barspins is hooking my finger on the inside of the grip. Tailwhips: what my friend sam does is sorta jumps toward the deck in the air, and catches it like that. DONT learn fakies hopping though. It'l be harder but its worth it later. Learn them like riding to the top of your driveway, stopping, than just rolling back down.
Good luck w/ your cousin, alittle friendly competition is always good.

Don't get obsessed with landing one trick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get your confidence back up by doing a load of easy tricks, no footers and stuff; and do step off whips to the point you don't need to think. For fakies just practice - learn to do one of those little hops just to get your balance, but don't do them ever again! 360s make sure you don't go off axis. Bars are a killer to learn - but just practice spinning the bars without jumping, then just do it off a curb.
