stock forks and threadless headsets.

alright, i have no idea whats wrong.
i have a cane creak aheadset unsealed.
heres the problem: whenever i turn my wheel the top threaded cap from a stock headset either gets tighter or looser. i have no idea how to fix it. also, my crown race is like big. it doesnt fit snug on the fork, it shakes around. any help?

and i searched for all you people who post and never help.

yeah.
its loose and doesnt stay still on the fork though.

its not the fork. ive tried like 6 different stock ones already.

You could send it back. But when it's tightened up, it doesn't matter.
Also, to fix the top cap-
Get compression, or use the threadless headset top and the compression ring from the stock headset (the nut thing, not the threaded cap).
It won't come loose, unless your cups aren't in all the way.

and i meant the top nut, not the cap.my mistake.

Its fine that it moves, when it's tightened it won't move and it won't matter.

And if you're using a threadless top cap, your nut won't come loose like it does from spinning when you use a stock top cap.
