Stylathons

I don't know if any of you have been on fingerflipinc.com/forum, but there's something called a stylathon. What it is is somebody films a single trick. Then, someone (only one person) has to try and match. Once someone matches, others decide who did the trick better or cleaner by commenting. The winner (first person to reach 4 votes) has to set the next trick. You can also do different types of stylathons like a vert stylathon, flat stylathon, rail stylathon, etc. I think this is a perfect idea for a thread or even a section. A new section would be sick.

There should be a thread for each trick. Constant moderation so there's no more than 2 videos at a time, and a new poll when 2 videos are posted. Keep it up for 2 days then count votes.

I think this might make it complicated, but could we set it up where we nominate a bunch of people (sr users) and assemble a championship much like battle at the berrics, but over the internet.

edit edit: after watching some stylathon vids, i think my idea is a bit excessive and complicated

I mean that people would vote at first but as the hype dies down it would take a long time for someone to reach 4 votes because no one is going to go to that section and look at the videos. I want to give this a try though. Sounds fun.

I see where your coming from. I liked the idea of keeping it up for 2 days and counting all the votes. I'm glad you guys like the idea. I've been thinking about it forever and never thought that I would have the power to actually make it happen.
